Joy has her BA in Psychology from Boston University and her Master of Science MS from Central Connecticut State University. Trained in Systemic Theory as a Marriage and Family Therapist and in Internal Family Systems Therapy her passion has revolved around bridging traditional approaches with holistic approaches for all forms of education, health and personal empowerment as well as creating new systems for raising awareness to the Bigger Picture behind our experiences. Joy has trained in hypnotherapy, Reiki, EFT and other energy therapies and has studied Metaphysics for the past 20 years. Joy created the Charon System of Integration, a tool that assists people in resolving challenges and issues in their life, facilitating personal empowerment and raising awareness about the transition of consciousness happening on the planet today.

Professionally, Joy has been a Financial Advisor for 18 years and is currently the Director of Business Development for Integrated Financial Partners, a member of Lincoln Financial Advisors.

The Mission of Building Bridges 2012 is to facilitate personal empowerment through positive change, system transformation and a more balanced way of life, while raising consciousness and fostering unity in diversity as we move from 3rd density to 4th density.

Many people are experiencing very intense personal challenges in areas of finance, career, health, relationships, religion, spirituality, or simply the blatant recognition that our systems and institutions (political, educational, relational, law enforcement, environmental, healthcare etc) are breaking down and are in need of being transformed to a higher level. According to systems theory, a powerful “structural intervention” for positive change is called “unbalancing the system”. “Unbalancing the system” as a therapeutic tool or intervention is the deliberate unbalancing of a system to allow it to re-stabilize at a higher level of complexity.

Well, that is exactly what we, at this time in history, are experiencing.

These times are quite paradoxical. One can see that more than ever both polarities or “sides” of situations are being experienced at the same time. For example, we are living longer than we ever have, yet more people than ever before are chronically ill and on some drug or pharmaceutical. More children are “coming in” with gifts and higher intelligences yet the rates of child developmental disorders and difficulties with education are at their highest levels ever. We have more products on the market for food, vitamins and health than in recorded history, yet our people are the unhealthiest and more nutritionally deficient than ever before. Our Earth, environment and the creatures of the world are at the highest level of toxicity, decay and disease yet we have the highest number of organizations dedicated to preserving them. We have an extremely high number of “unaware” people regarding these issues with yet the greatest number of media venues to deliver this information. Relationships and family dynamics are at the highest level of dysfunction yet we have the highest number of resources and therapeutic “forums” to support them than ever before.

There can only be one reason why this is so – we are evolving and it is a very positive thing. We are moving into a higher level of complexity and as we do that we go through a “purging” of sorts and then enter a transition from one way of existence to another. This “dynamic” or “transition” is known and widely accepted within the metaphysical community and the timing has arrived that it be introduced and built upon within the “mainstream” population. Building Bridges 2012 refers to the dynamic as evolution - moving from 3rd density to 4th density - and the focus of the company is to bridge the gap between the mainstream and the metaphysical, creating new systems and solutions to our challenges that are more holistic, balanced and aligned with who we are.
